The E! Series has thrust Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian into fame and this paved a path for Kylie Jenner and Kendall, too.
E! Show has spawned 9 spin-offs which include recently debuted Life of Kylie. And it focuses on the youngest member of the family.
The name- Keeping Up With The Kardashians- is often thought to be an interpretation keeping up with the Joneses.
But now we come across the real origin story of this title which was completely accidental.
It was explained by Damla Dogan of E! that there were a few contended for the title which includes the Kardashians: Krazy With a K, Krazy Kardashians, and Living Kardashian.
Gratefully, none of the above were chosen and it’s all down to production organization Bunim/Murray’s Farnaz Farjam.
She explained to the Hollywood Reporter that “We all had been tasked with coming to the meeting with some title ideas and when it was my turn I had to confess I didn’t have a list”
“I made a factual statement that I was ‘too busy keeping up with the Kardashians”
She added: “I came up with it on accident because I was living it.”
And then the 6 main female members- Kourtney, 38, Kris, 61, Kim, 36, Kendall, 21, Khloe, 33, and Kyle, 20 were featured on the latest magazine cover.
Each of their incomes was explored. Kim’s earning was reported as $45.5 million in the past year.
Khloe’s denim line, Good America, has recorded $1m sales in its 1st day and the cosmetic launch by Kylie manage to bring $420m sales in its first 18 months.
Kendall earning base is modeling gigs as the girls’ “momager” whereas Kris takes a share of their earning and Kourtney manages to earn in millions with her social media endorsements.
