Dilip Kumar is a well-known name to every Indian. He is a legendary actor of Bollywood who has gifted us with many blockbuster movies like Devdas, Ram Aur Shyam, Naya Daur and much more. A sad news for his fans. 🙁 Reportedly Dilip Sir has been shifted to ICU at Lilavati Hospital from the kidney ailment. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on this Wednesday due to urinary tract infection and dehydration.
As per the doctors treating Dilip Sir, “his creatinine levels are rising. He is going into renal failure. At this age, it’s serious.”
From a media source, it has heard that there’s not much improvement in actor’s health condition since he has been hospitalized. It could be more complicated if the kidney functions continue to deteriorate. Doctors are saying that in such situations, the heart and lungs get affected as toxins start building up in the blood. However, doctors are hoping his organs regain its functionality.
When reporters ask about Saira Banu (Dilip Kumar’s Wife) about his renal ailment this morning, this is what she said,-”We have to pray he recovers soon. He should be well Inshallah! God willing. The doctors are treating him,”.
Earlier on Wednesday, Banu updated about his health condition saying that he is recovering. Along with that she said, he is showing improvement since yesterday. But still, he will be in doctor’s facility today as the specialists are taking great care of him.
A year ago in December, the 94-year-old artist was hurried to the same Hospital in Mumbai because of swelling in his leg, after which his better half took to Twitter to inform fans about his quick recovery.
Dilip Sir has also made his debut on Facebook this year in April by sharing an adorable video of him and his better half, Saira Banu. Watch this video below:
