Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer movie, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is turning to be one of the successful films of Bollywood for the year 2017. The film got released on 11th of August and it seems like the audience is really in love with the storyline.
A film critic, Tushar P Joshi said, “Akki and Bhumi have done an outstanding job in this film. Their performance level is beyond imagination and the entire team is conveying a powerful message to the Indian society in the first half of the movie.”
The movie is based on the importance of sanitation and emphasis has been given to the condition of personal toilets in villages and small towns. It is based on a true story and Mr. Joshi says, “The film opens with a scene where few women are seen together, using farms to relieve themselves.” The part about sanitation is shown later in the movie.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has an awesome storyline. It starts with a love story shot in perfect locations. The duo takes some time to get close to one another and this suspense holds the attention of the audience.
The practice of relieving yourself in open lands has been called lota party in the movie. This practice is not fiction at all and is still implemented in many villages of India.
Bhumi has given a great performance in the movie and her role has been liked by all. On the other hand, the Khiladi Kumar has also done justice to his character and received a lot of appreciation from the audience. It seems that he was certainly the ideal choice for the lead actor of the film.
