We’ve got some new updates on all the Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor fans. The earlier update given by Rishi Kapoor on his Twitter was that he and Big B were going to be seen together sharing the screen space after almost 26 years. And today’s’ update on the same shows the first look of their upcoming film ‘102 Not Out’. The film will see Big B portraying the role of a 102-year-old and Rishi will be seen playing his son who’s 75-year-old.
Directed by Umesh Shukla and based on writer-director Saumya Joshi’s successful Gujarati play by the same name, this movie will be a great watch! Umesh Shukla spoke about the same to a famous tabloid saying, “Amitji and Rishiji are collaborating after 26 years. They are playing Gujarati characters for the first time. Being a Gujarati myself, I had certain references in my mind which we used to create their look.” [sic]
Adding to it, he said, “I had produced the original play and knew it could be turned into a film for its unique plot and humor. Saumya has written the film brilliantly.”
Don’t they look adorable in this look!? We’ve seen them playing all sorts of roles and this one’s going to be outstanding and we know it already!
The makers of the film already started with the shoot since Wednesday, with Big B’s introductory scene. The film will be shot in Mumbai till the end of the month and will be resumed again in July after which they plan on wrapping it up to be the end of July.
Umesha also spoke about Big B and Rishi speaking a few lines in Gujarati in the film. He said, “They are already good with the language and have a tutor on the set to guide them. All of us are having a blast. Both are extremely dedicated actors and have their own methods of working. We did a three-four days workshop last month and it was so much fun!” [sic]
