Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma’s ugly mid-air fight has not only left them parting ways from each other but also has come as an alarming news to us. Even when we’ve got to listen a lot from Kapil, there’s absolutely no news from Sunil’s side.
Sunil told a leading daily, “I’m here to work, not to have an argument with somebody and walk out of shows. I just want to make people laugh. Whatever happened was unfortunate, emergency landing ho gayi meri.”
Ever Since the three main comedians of the chat show have called it quits, namely Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar, the show has only fallen down off its TRP and Kapil has been fighting hard for the same. Moreover, Kapil has been given a month’s warning to retain the TRP for the channel.
When Sunil was asked about the dropping down of the TRP for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, he said, “Ratings are not in anybody’s control. Even I have done a show (Mad in India on Star Plus), where the ratings didn’t meet expectations. If I was good with that system, I’d be working every day and doing 10 shows.”
Questioned about how it saddened him to not be a part of the 100th episode of the chat show, Grover answered, “It did but maybe it’s destiny.”
While talking about being associated with the show for so long, he expressed, “Of course the association had been successful and I think Kapil is extremely talented and I wish him luck.”
Well, they sure do have a distance in between them, but nothing stopped Sunil from complimenting Kapil for the work that he does. Well, that’s what we call professionalism!
