Ram-Lakhan is one of the most liked movie of Bollywood. The story revolves around two brothers where one is adopted and the other one is biological. The story line of the film is about revenge.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, was interested to do the remake of Ram-Lakhan and recently when he was inquired about it, he said that it is not going to happen anymore because young stars from the Bollywood industry are not interested to work together.
The media sought to gain more information on Rohit’s statement and thought to ask one of the emerging stars of Bollywood, Arjun Kapoor who is becoming quite popular for his acting skills after his recent success in Mubarakan, about his views on the statement.
Arjun replied in a sensible way and said that he is really unaware of the fact and was not offered Ram-Lakhan by any one. According to him, Rohit is an experienced person and might be having a reason behind his statement. He also added that he would love to work under Rohit Shetty if he offers him any movie in the future.
Arjun was also asked to express his thoughts on the insecurity that the actors are facing and he said that if an actor is confident, clear and excited about his job role then there is no point of feeling insecure. He said that he had done movies like Gunday, Finding Fanny, Aurangzeb, Ishaqzaade, Mubarakan and many more so one of the movies had to be out of his comfort zone to overcome his fear and therefore this helps in overcoming the insecurities.
He was also asked why multi starrer films are not given much importance as they used to be given few years back. He said that the two reasons are lack of content and cost. There are not many interesting topics left to continue the sequel and money also matters a lot in making these kind of movies.
