The movie Meri Pyaari Bindu is turning to be a great successful one for Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra. As per records, the first day collection was Rs 1.75 crore while the second day collection reached up to Rs2. 25 crore, which is creating a record in the category of low budget movies.
As per the last report, the movie has done a total box office collection of Rs 4 crore and it has been released across 750 screens worldwide. As per a report by trade analyst, they tweeted about the same as “#MeriPyaariBindu Fri 1.75 cr, Sat 2.25 cr. Total: ₹ 4 cr [750 screens]. India biz.”
Before the film release, there was a prediction by Akshaye Rathi, who is an exhibitor and distributor, where he had mentioned that the movie Meri Pyaari Bindu will be generating revenue of around Rs.10 crore in the first week of its release. The good news is that within two days of release it has managed to generate Rs 4 crore, which may lead to Rs.10 crore within 5 days.
Before the movie got released, the song ‘Maana Ki Hum Yaar Nahi’ created a lot of buzz among the audience. The duet version of the song was magical. The song has crossed more than 20 million online views, which is still increasing. This was her debut song in the Bollywood industry.
Parineeti Chopra was out of the big screen for two years and this was her come-back while her pairing with Ayushmann rocked the movie. The chemistry between them was liked by audiences very much, but for some reason the story line of the movie lacked in many parts. Thus, Meri Pyaari Bindu is going to be an average film.
