Kabir Khan shoots with Shah Rukh Khan once again

Filmmaker Kabir Khan finally fulfilled the wish of many by bringing together Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. Yes, Kabir directed SRK and Salman in upcoming film ‘Tubelight”. The Badshah has a cameo in the war drama. The coming together of the Khans has sent a wave of joy among their fans. They have been dreaming of seeing the Karan Arjun of Bollywood on the big screen since long now.

The recent buzz in Bollywood circle is that Kabir and Shah Rukh are abroad shooting again for a movie; albeit a short one. Confirming the news Kabir said, “I’m in Dubai shooting a short film with Shah Rukh Khan for Dubai tourism.”

According to sources close to the development, Kabir and SRK are also going to be working on a feature film very soon. “Shah Rukh and Kabir are very keen on doing a feature film; they go back a very long way. In fact, not many people know this, but Shah Rukh’s character in Chak De! India was named Kabir after Kabir Khan. When Kabir asked Shah Rukh to make a guest appearance in Salman’s Tubelight, the latter said ‘yes’ without a second thought. Now, when SRK asked Kabir to shoot a short film for him, the director readily agreed, setting his hectic post-production schedule for Tubelight aside, to fly to Dubai.”

King Khan will play a magician in ‘Tubelight’, which is apparently based on a Hollywood movie Little Boy.
