Manoj Bajpayee starring, RUKH is all set to release on 27 October 2017. The film is an artwork of Drishyam Films. Manish Mundra, the founder of Drishyam Films and also the producer of the movie stated- “Rukh is a very special film for us since it is a story we have mentored from the start with the Drishyam-Sundance Screenwriters Lab. We are very happy with the way it has shaped up and can’t wait for our audience to see it”.
RUKH is about an 18 years old boy, ‘Dhruv’ who lives away from his family in a boarding school, meanwhile, he got the news of his father unexpected death in a car accident. After he copes with his grief, he comes to know about the hidden truths of his family. It is the story of a boy unfurling the secrets of his father’s death as he suspects that each one around him is hiding something. Through his rediscovery, he got to know about various unexpected facts and also about the shades of his father’s attitude which he had never confronted before.
Atanu Mukherjee, who is doing his debut in Bollywood as a writer-director through the film said- “it is an intimate portrait of a family in flux, inspired by a few real life events and characters”
