A case was filed against Rishi Kapoor on Saturday for Tweeting obscene material on his Twitter account, reports news agency IANS.
The complaint was filed by a NGO, against this 64-year-old veteran actor for sharing an ‘indecent and nude’ image of a child on Twitter.
Afroz Malik, the President of Jai Ho Foundation, NGO mentioned in his report, “We would request you to immediately register a FIR against actor Rishi Kapoor under relevant sections of POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) and IT Act for posting indecent, nude and vulgar picture of a minor child on his Twitter account @chintskap”.
The complaint was filed at the Cyber Police station of Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East. Well, to let you know Jai Ho Foundation is a Maharashtra based NGO which is registered under Women and Child Development Department of the state.
On Saturday, Mr. Rishi Kapoor posted a video on Twitter showing a little boy hitting a girl and fooling around another boy.
Afroz Malik also added, “Rishi Kapoor has more than 2.6 Million followers on Twitter account. This means the pornographic image material got circulated to more than 2.6 Million people. There are more than 66 retweets and 476 likes as of now on his this indecent image.”
Rishi Kapoor does not share a friendly relationship with Twitter. He is frequently trolled and criticised for his proactive Tweets- not that Rishi Kapoor is minimally affected for his Twitter activity continues, irrespective, unfazed of being trolled consistently.
