Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are the strongest pillar of Bollywood industry. They are the biggest super star of our country who are continuously entertaining us with their acting skills. Since the ‘90s, they are on top of the list of Bollywood star and still they are continuing the fame.
So, let us have a look, since 2007, which actor is going in a smooth flow in terms of career and growth- Shah Rukh, Salman or Aamir.
In the year 2007, Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh came up with the film “Om Shanti Om” and it turned as a box office blockbuster. In the year 2008, again SRK gave “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” to the audience and it was liked by the audience too but during the end of the year Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan came up with “Ghajini” and it left behind “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. In fact this was the first film to start Rs 100 crore club in B-Town too.
In the year 2009, Aamir Khan amazed the audience by presenting “3 Idiots”. Thus the trend of Rs 200 crore club started in the B-Town. Then Bhai Jaan came into picture with his film “Dabangg” and successfully made an entry into the gross income Rs 100 crore films.
Aamir Khan’s Dhobi Ghat and mystery thriller, Talaash were the next releases but didn’t worked out in the box office resulting great flops. Then the Badshsh, introduced Ra.One and Don 2: The King Is Back to the audience and registered his name in Rs 100 crore club.
In the year 2013, Shah Rukh’s “Chennai Express” broke all records by entering Rs 200 crore club and became the highest grosser beating Aamir Khan’s “3 Idiots”. Same year Aamir broke Shah Rukh’s record by presenting “Dhoom 3” and became the top revenue generator of the year.
In 2015, a new era came where the challenge was to beat Rs 300 core club and Aamir was the first one to hit the jack pot with his film PK. Bhai jaan too came up with “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” but was unable to break PK’s record.
In 2016, Aamir’s “Dangal” and Salman’s “Sultan” did a superb job in the box office with earning more than Rs 300 crore.
This year Shah Rukh’s “Raees” is in the top of the list at box office but it seems, soon it will be broken by Akshay Kumar’s movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
Some of the movies like Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again, Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar and Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai are yet to release. Let us see which movie is going to repeat history.
