New Delhi: Ajay Devgn’s “Baadshaho” is doing a great job at the box office counters. Baadshaho’s opening day collections were recorded to be Rs. 12.03 Crore. From a report it has found that, its collection figures by over double the amount on Saturday. Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst has reported that the Milan Luthria-directed movie made 15.60 crore on Saturday. So the total amount shoot up to Rs. 27.63 crore. Baadshaho is set against the 1975 Emergency. This film features popular stars like, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta, Emraan Hashmi, Sanjay Mishra and Vidyut Jamwal while Sunny Leone makes a special appearance in a song.
Baadshaho released on Friday. Saibal Chatterjee said on his review, “Baadshaho is the sort of film that banks solely on style. The story is strictly bare-bones, a glaring fact that is sought to be disguised through the means of gratuitous chase scenes and meaningless banter”.
Baadshaho released along with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s movie “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan” which made Rs. 2 Crores on its opening day. Mr. Chatterjee added, “Baadshaho has no climax worth the name. It ends. Just like that. Seriously”. After movies like, Kachche Dhaage, Chori Chori and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Baadshaho is the 4th movie in which Ajay Devgn has worked with director, Milan Luthria.
