The flood crisis in Bihar is showing signs of improvements as water is receding from several areas. This in return is allowing people to return to their homes. The count of deluge-related fatalities remains at 514, with no further new death reported from 19 flood-hit districts.
To overcome from this critical situation Aamir Khan has extended his hands of relief for the marooned people of Bihar. He has sent a check of Rs 25 lakh on behalf of his film production company, Aamir Khan Productions Ltd, for the victims said an official statement, reports PTI.
According to the reports, the cheque arrived via courier and was received at the office of CM Nitish Kumar. As per the reports, Khan has shown his immense presence to rescue the disaster stuck states in the past as well. And had denoted the same amount of Rs 25 lakh during the Gujarat and Assam floods too.
The CM of Gujarat, Sarbananda Sonowal took Twitter to show gratitude for his noble gesture. He posted:

Other helping hands came from BJP Rajya Sabha member C P Thakur with an amount of Rs 20 lakh from his MPLAD fund for the relief work in Sahebganj and Paru blocks of Muzaffarpur.
An amount of 1 lakh was donated by Krishna Kumar Rishi, the art and culture minister. Many other former legislators and MLAs also showed their helping hands for the flood relief work.
