A technician died on the set of Pari after coming in contact of a live wire during the shoot in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal as per the yesterday’s police report. A resident of UP, Shah Alam (28) came in contact with the live wire which was under bamboo bush, reported by senior police officer.
The incident took place at the shooting location at Korolberia, the area which comes under Leather Complex police station limits.
The officer also said, “We are looking into the matter. The body has been sent for post-mortem and we are waiting for the report. Primarily, it seems that he died of electrocution. The scene was being shot around a bamboo bush where lights were fitted to illuminate the objects and the main characters. He probably touched one of the live wires.”
The victim Alam was rushed towards the nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. According to the police the shooting has been stopped.
